In August 2012, Shalan Stained Glass began replicating two small lancets, originally designed by G. Owen Bonawit for the Sterling Memorial Library at Yale University. Unique to these lancets are the textured lead overlays that appear on their interior and exterior surfaces. The project involved working closely with the architect, the consultant and another stained glass studio to determine the best approach to fabricating new overlays that matched the originals. The replicated windows were completed in March 2013.

An article about this project was published winter 2014/15 in the Stained Glass Quarterly. Read it here (pdf).
